When little Timmy Hall went to kindergarten the kids teased him and called him Fuzzy because of his big white fro. Now Fuzzy is in his late 30’s and is a legend in BMX. I met Fuzzy over 10 years ago and he really did change my life. We just finished a Fuel TV Firsthand on Fuzzy that premieres this Sunday. Check it out. We love you Fuzzy, you are the man.

We had a great time at Mammoth at the Roxy Chicken Jam.
It is a great event for women and always fun to shoot.
Sunday the event got canceled because of bad weather so all the camera crew, and producers went snowboarding, nice powder- great day.

Ethan Vincent and I had a lovely time in West Palm Beach, Florida at the BMX UCI race. Everybody is gearing up for the Olympics. Here is quick Olympic update with Team GT.

I got to Moscow last night with the oakley crew. Today we went to Red Square to do some shooting. I gave my still camera to Anne-Flore cuz I was busy shooting video and her still camera ran out of batteries. Here's a photo she took of Gretchen Bleiler in front of St. Basil's Cathedral.

Day 4 of riding in Russia and we finally got a break, it's been super warm and sketchy avalanche conditions, things got better and we were allowed to hike to this spot with a guide. It was a bit nervous for me, my first time hiking that far out. But we got some good shots and had a great ride down.

I am very excited that our little museum down the street will have a WAYNE THIEBAUD retrospective called Wayne Thiebaud: 70 Years of Painting. It is at Springville Museum of Art in Springville, Utah from 28 March through 27 July 2008 with book signing and lecture on the 29th. I have enjoyed this guy's art for years and am excited to check it out.

I'm in russia shooting some snowboarding and skiing for Oakley. We are in a tiny town called Sochi. Sochi will host the winter olympics in 2014. Look beyond the russian sign and you'll see Grete Eliassen atop the cliff waiting to drop.

I have always been a big fan of the Olympics. This week I had a chance to shoot at the Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista, California. Super fit people everywhere. Insane cafeteria food. BMX racing with be in the Olympic for the first time this year. This photo Jill Kintner working with her trainer with a heavy ball.

In So. Cal. Had lunch at my favorite Laguna Beach burrito place with Hans Rey. He just got back from Africa and Europe, we talked about possibly working together on a film project with his charity, Wheels 4 Life.

Been in Baltimore with Nasty to visit his buddy Stephen Murray. In this photo Nasty is technically not grabbing himself, he is just lifting up his underwear so you can get a good look at his blown out knee after surgery.

Been filming Nasty for a few weeks now for the pilot of the Nasty documentary series for Fuel TV. He is a funny bold kid that is very fun to film. He understands what this series could be. More later.

spent the day yesterday shooting sculptor Jeff Decker. He had a giant pour going on so I rolled down to shoot it for him. We've been filming jeff for years. Super funny historian, artist, culture archivist.

I haven't really played music with anyone since high school. But Julian and I took a stab last night at recording something for the fuel spot that steve has been scratching film for. We'll see if it turns out or if we end up using some other music. Either way, I had a blast playing with julian.

We spent last week in Tahoe shooting Kyle Smaine for New Pollution. He's the first skier that they have featured. Kyle's an all around class act.

Dozer the dog and Matt “Pretty Boy” Beacham double team the goal in some serious Pond Hockey in Lincoln, Massachusetts on a recent New Pollution shoot.

This is Nicholi, the kid Steve mentioned in his last post. Yes, that's a 16 inch bike, and yes, he's trying a back flip tail whip. Kid can ride.

We are at one of my favorite places, Camp Woodward in PA, Amish country. We are doing a New Pollution segment on Nicholi an amazing 11 year old BMXer . Getting great footage and having a great time. Got a skate session in today too. (Doing a 2 camera shoot---2 HVX 200s)

Over the years we have had the chance to work with GT rider Jill Kintner. She is a World Champion and World Cup Champion mountain biker. She is also an excellent graphic designer with a keen artistic eye. I think her web site is the best site in the world of competitive mountain biking, it is a cool look into her life, her art, and the people she races and travels with. Jill started as a BMX kid and is returning to the little bikes in 2008 for the Olympics in China.
